School Governors
School Governors are a voluntary group of people with a range of expertise. It is made up of volunteers from staff, parents and the local community.
The governing body’s main aim is to raise standards of achievement and make sure the school provides a good quality of education. The day-to-day management is the responsibility of the Headteacher and staff. The governors are there to offer support and advice.
Aims:
- Provide a strategic overview
- Act as a critical friend to the school
- Accountability
If you would like to discuss anything with the Chair of Governors, Mrs Julie Davies, or our Clerk to Governors, you can do via the school office. All meetings are minuted and can be made available upon request.
